Speaker repair

A good driver rarely needs to be thrown away: surrounds perish, dust caps dent and cones get damaged, but the magnet system and basket usually stay fine for decades. A proper repair brings back the driver's original sound.

You'll find surrounds, dust caps, driver parts, speaker-grade adhesives and ferrofluid here. Measure the exact dimensions before repairing, and when replacing a surround, centre the voice coil carefully or it will rub.
